It’s been said before but Skooty Kilper can suck it.
My e90 has 122 with no sign of stopping. Scotty is the kind of person that the phrase “Ok Boomer” is made for.

His success is proof that if you talk loud enough, people will listen to you.

“ Scotty is the kind of person that the phrase “Ok Boomer” is made for.”
100% agree. Perfect description of this stain on the automotive community.

Hoo-boy, second this one. I wish there was a site to talk candidly about “these YouTube personalities, who seem to know about 12% of what they claim to know”. There’s quite a list and ol’ Scotty’s high on it.
Or, he could just be high.

He is kind of a fun walking stereotype of the demographic. Stubborn, shouty/whiny, know-it-all, etc.

Basically the automotive equivalent of Jim Cramer.

What the title should s ay is that cars that should get a cooling system replacement at 100,000 miles.
My E90 reached 195,000 miles, about to go on it’s 2nd preemptive cooling system replacement.
Still on stock clutch and drives almost like new, no one who drives it or in it thinks it has almost 200K miles.

Scotty Kilmer is a complete jackass.
And any car can be kept on the road for 200,000+ miles if you throw enough money at it.

If you make clickbait titles and post four videos per day eventually one will go viral.

He doesn’t live in New Hampshire yet “live free or die” is plastered over everything he owns. Tells you all you need to know about him.

Everytime hi s videos pop up on my YouTube feed I report them as spam. Not sure if it does anything , hopefully it does.

I have how he talks; his manner of speech just pisses me off for some reason. He reminds of a belligerant populist demagogue.

The man is proof that having 30 years of experience in something does not mean you're good at that thing.

Heres to hoping he put the second gen mini cooper on there

I can’t stand the guy, honestly.

I spend most of my YouTube hate on young super car douches but I see I need to diversify.

He's from New Hampshire originally, I believe. Relocated to Texas for various reasons and has refused to assimilate.

Do you think he tells his neighbors his filming schedule so they know when to not be home?
Every once in a while I see his next-door neighbors windows from the camera angles, and t
hat’s all I think about when he’s squawking
away in the
driveway.

I’m pretty sure an N52 will last longer than a 1MZ-FE from his beloved Toyota brand but okay

Yeah Scotty Kilmer is a troll, but he is right when he says
90s Toyotas are the best cars :o)

Relocated so he never has to deal with rust again!!! :p

Well, then that’s just even more confusing

Yeah, I spent some more time looking and it’s a bit confusing. It says in one place he was born in Niagara Falls, but another one says his family owned a garage/filling_station in Michigan where he learned his trade.
His website claims he got a “Masters Degree in Eclectic from University of Illinois”. Most grad schools want you to have an undergraduate degree before admitting you to a Masters’ program, but what do I know? Maybe they waive that requirement when you are majoring in “Eclectic”.
it is confusing. Reminds me a bit of the Teslanomics guy...
One thing I CAN SAY WITH CERTAINTY is that I will not be hiring ol’ Scotty to do website design...
